![]() When I moved to Dubai I was waiting on my pc and ended up looking into how other people played the campaigns for sh.its and giggs. If I had some advice, I'd say one thing that helped me is watching some of the walkthroughs in the video section. I don't play naval too often and I try to avoid them in campaign, they are an absolute bloody nightmare. ![]() Originally posted by Warwolf:First off, brilliant reference in your name. Is it all in how you time missile barrages? Do your ships automatically deploy chaff (I've seen the Soviet ships disperse smokescreens)? Am I supposed to capture Valdivostok by land first to cut off the northern naval zone? I've looked at guides, but very little is on general naval tactics. I'm not particularly bad at Wargame, but there's obviously something I'm missing here. nothing works and at best, I can sink only like 2-3 corvets. I tried pincer formations, maneuvering around the chain islands. I tried to cut off their command ship in their northern zone to cut off MiG assaults that decimate my command ships, to no avail. Even 9 ASW jets pounding their command ship barely dent it. However, after like 20 attempts, I just couldn't put a dent in the Soviet naval fleet, with Chinese/DPRK naval ships and ASW jets. I was trying to conduct a pincer movement against Vladivostok using an army from the west and navy from the south. Then I got stonewalled in early in the China campaign. Finally got RD, completed the Korea campaign. Got ALB years ago and really like this series. ![]()
